Ideal candidate: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination The role involves: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines Performance bonus on top of base pay.
