Immediate opening: we are hiring an excavator operator in Barnwell County, South Carolina. The job is on a busy civils and groundworks site. Day-to-day duties: • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
