Stitching operator — Abaji

Now hiring: we are hiring a stitching operator in Abaji, Federal Capital Territory. Day to day you will sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines 6+ years on the tools preferred.
