Tyre technician — Bronx County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tyre technician in Bronx County, New York. Requirements: • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage The role involves: • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $26 per hour plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
