Immediate opening: elevator technician (South Dakota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator technician in Sully County, South Dakota. The job is in a residential tower block. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Day to day you will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes.
