Vacancy available: we are hiring a JCB operator in Clay County, North Carolina. The job is in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Ideal candidate: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Your main tasks: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels Rotating shifts.
