Press setter operator — Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press setter operator in Washington County, Georgia. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout On a typical shift you will adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; record output and downtime on the production sheet; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
