Vertical milling machine operator • Washington County, Colorado

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Washington County, Colorado. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift Six days a week, one day off.
