We are recruiting: power float operator (New Jersey)

Now hiring: we are hiring a power float operator in Salem County, New Jersey. You will be based on a road and bridge project. The role involves: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
