We are recruiting: single needle operator (Tennessee)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a single needle operator in Blount County, Tennessee. You will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
