Great opportunity: foundry worker (Kansas)

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in Rooks County, Kansas. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. On the job you will handle: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
