Escalator technician — Kent County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an escalator technician in Kent County, Michigan. Day-to-day duties: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate 4+ years on the tools preferred.
