We are recruiting: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Macon County, Georgia. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. Your main tasks: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Rotating shifts.
