Structural MIG welder — LaPorte County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in LaPorte County, Indiana. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration What we are looking for: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
