Ladle pourer — Glascock County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Glascock County, Georgia. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Day to day you will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. 5+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
