Core maker — Richland County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a core maker in Richland County, Montana. You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal The role involves mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
