Conventional mill operator — Merrimack County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Merrimack County, New Hampshire. Your main tasks: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe Ideal candidate: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits.
