Oven operator — Grundy County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an oven operator in Grundy County, Iowa. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. What we are looking for: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Day to day you will rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; score the top of loaves before baking. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
