Join our team: elevator service technician (Scotland)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Moray, Scotland. You will respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches. Ideal candidate: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Six days a week, one day off.
