Port container crane operator — Edwards County

Join our team: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Edwards County, Illinois. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. Your main tasks: • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams Requirements: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
