Plastering hand — Merrimack County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plastering hand in Merrimack County, New Hampshire. The job is at a plastering and dry lining contractor. Requirements: • CSCS card or willing to obtain one • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline The role involves: • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
