Foundry worker — Glasscock County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Glasscock County, Texas. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. On a typical shift you will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
