Overlocker operator • Clarke County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Clarke County, Georgia. You will work in a textile and apparel unit. Day to day you will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently 5+ years on the tools preferred.
