Immediate opening: we are hiring a press machine operator in Jefferson County, Ohio. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Day to day you will deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses. Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Rotating shifts.
