Meat cutter • Lawrence County, South Dakota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat cutter in Lawrence County, South Dakota. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Day to day you will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; season and marinate meat on request. Requirements: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
