Immediate opening: powder coating operator (Georgia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Dougherty County, Georgia. You will work in a metal finishing workshop. The role involves sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape. Ideal candidate: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
