Foundry worker wanted in Taylor County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry worker in Taylor County, Georgia. The job is at a busy iron foundry. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Day-to-day duties: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
