Gas meter installer — Palm Beach County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Palm Beach County, Florida. Day-to-day duties: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
