Vacuum press operator — Floyd County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Floyd County, Indiana. On the job you will handle: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
