Immediate opening: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Greer County, Oklahoma. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line On the job you will handle: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
