Now hiring: we are hiring a stitching operator in Treutlen County, Georgia. The role involves: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
