We are recruiting: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Clay County, Kansas. You should have: • Punctual, reliable and hard-working • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Good teamwork with chefs and floor staff Day to day you will keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $5,100 per month plus benefits.
