Now hiring: we are hiring a power float operator in City and County of San Francisco, California. You will be based at an infrastructure site. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours On a typical shift you will float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing.
