Immediate opening: lifting rigger (Abia State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Arochukwu, Abia State. You will be based at a power plant. On the job you will handle: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Pay around ₦240,000 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
