Powder coating technician — Liberty County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Liberty County, Texas. Day to day you will record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper; cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time. What we are looking for: • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
