Offshore rigger — Lauderdale County

Now hiring: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Lauderdale County, Alabama. You will work at a shipyard. Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites On the job you will handle: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
