Vacancy available: oven operator (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an oven operator in Callahan County, Texas. You will be based at a café with an on-site bakery. On the job you will handle: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing Requirements: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to work early-morning and night shifts 1+ years on the tools preferred.
