Powder coating line operator — Southern Ijaw

Vacancy available: we are hiring a powder coating line operator in Southern Ijaw, Bayelsa State. You will be based on an industrial coating line. On a typical shift you will record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun; run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, respirator and fire-safety norms • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
