Formwork carpenter — Calhoun County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Calhoun County, South Carolina. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level Ideal candidate: • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Own basic hand tools $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
