Now hiring: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Pratt County, Kansas. You will work at a wholesale meat market. You will keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts. What we are looking for: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
