Presser — Essex County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a presser in Essex County, Massachusetts. The job is in a tailoring workshop. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep You will shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $23 per hour, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
