Immediate opening: argon welding operator (Scotland)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welding operator in The Scottish Borders, Scotland. Day to day you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
