Heavy equipment operator — Kendall County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Kendall County, Illinois. The job is in an open-cast mine. The role involves load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
