Milling machine operator — Nottoway County

Now hiring: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Nottoway County, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift You will load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed.
