Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction helper in Greene County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns. What we are looking for: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it 1+ years on the tools preferred.
