Urgent requirement: flatlock machine operator (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Borough of Torbay, England. The job is on an export house sewing floor. Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Your main tasks: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line Full-time, day shift. £2,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
