Ladle pourer — Malheur County

Now hiring: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Malheur County, Oregon. You will work at a busy iron foundry. Day to day you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $27 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
