Commis chef • Edgar County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a commis chef in Edgar County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. You should have: • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets Day-to-day duties: • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
