The role involves: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
