AC mechanic — Bristol County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Bristol County, Massachusetts. You will be based at an HVAC contractor's workshop. Your main tasks: • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum Ideal candidate: • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience Rotating shifts.
